Anyone using the VDIAGTOOL D200 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner on a Solent car?

I'm fairly new to the club and still getting to know my way around the cars, so this is more a case of me trying to make a sensible first purchase than anything expert. I want a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 scanner for basic fault-code reading and live data on my car, and the VDIAGTOOL D200 keeps appearing in searches. I came across this page while looking into it: VDIAGTOOL D200 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner Review. What I'm unsure about is whether a budget Bluetooth unit like this holds a stable connection and reads codes reliably, or whether it drops out on some cars and needs a more expensive tool. I also don't know how well it copes with older vehicles versus newer ones with more modules. Has anyone in the club used this scanner, or a similar Bluetooth one, on their car? I'd like to hear how it performed in practice before I spend anything.

I suspect phone base obd tools would be basic are are getting smarter due type of phone being used as well.
What do you want scantool to do? Ie just see code reset very limited do you want it to say ie battery recode or injector recode?

I have autel and foxwell but looking to upgrade to xtool or topdon unit at around 600 pounds. Depends how deep you want to go into fault finding and repair. Say you have a Abs fault basic scanner will give you a generic code so fault could be anything Abs related more depth would give you abs unit or which wheel is at fault and gives you live data as well.
