American Speedfest Brands Hatch 7/8th June 2025

Car all cleaned for Brands Hatch. Only going up Saturday.
Left at 5:45am, picked up a freind, and got some fuel along the way. Stopped off at Clackett lane services. Met up with the Pontiac Owners club in the layby just before Brands Hatch. Spotted an Camaro while standing there.
Got into Brands Parked up on the club stand. Had a go on the Sim racing, choice or Corvette, Truck or Cobra. Many people we going for the Corvette. The track time is there for for the weekend for people to beat. So i went for the truck as few people using that. I got the fastest lap.
but that was short lived as there was also a guy having a go that is actually in the truck series racing. He was getting 52 seconds a lap, I got 56. Still it was great fun though.

It was still busy for a Saturday, I kind prefered it, as the Sunday is rammed and can be difficult to move around.
Saw this number plate and though of Darren, being in Wales, and sheep and owning a mustang like vehicle.
Cars cars were there.
Great parking up with other pontiacs
The downpoor of rain came around 4.30pm. we were provmised rain and thunderstorms all day, so we did get away with it well as no rain from 6am till then. It was a great day out.
Driving home was a bit sketchy, the M25 was down to 35mph. I was happy with that speed in those conditions. Many people driving sensibly.
