1968 Ford Mustang coupe black plate california car with a difference

Imported from California October 2014 and has been dry stored since. Upon arrival to england the car was running a fuel injected 5.0 small block mated with a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. After inspection I decided to remove the fuel injection due to how badly it had been fitted and now has been setup on carb.

Engine spec.

1993 ford 5.0 from a Fox body converted to run on carburettor setup using all new parts where required
Edelbrock performer intake manifold
Holley 650 cfm 4 barrel carb
Hipo fuel pump
new timing chain set whilst it was stripped
timing cover to suit
Thermostat, heater core, heater hoses, gaskets
MSD distributor kit and coil
Aluminium Radiator with bottom outlet to suit, top and bottom hoses
Kenlowe 13 fan with thermostat control fitted in the top hose
Ford racing valve covers
K & N air filter element and K & N Extreme air filter top
Came to me fitted with Hedman long tube headers into duel flow master exhausts sounds how a mustang should.

Gearbox and drive line

Tremec 5 speed manual with all gears as they should be mated to an aluminium prop shaft
rear end is a modern 8.8 posi traction unit complete with disc brakes however unsure on what it has come out of.
Front disc brakes are I believe from a modern ford mustang
Rear leaf springs, bushings and shock absorbers are also fairly new

Wheels are modern ford 17 five spokes fitted with four as new matching Nankang tyres

lights have been converted to uk spec with new headlights incorporating side light bulbs and amber indicators all round

Interior

Original spec seats all in good condition, nice and neat black head lining
Fitted with new 3 point seat belts
new Hurst shifter and gaitor
New Lockar tunnel mounted hand brake setup which was the best way to hook up with the rear end

Exterior

Both doors had bubbling at the bottom corners so have had the corners cut out and new metal welded in
The sills in the past had been fitted with covers and were not with it when it arrived so all the clips have been removed and welded up
front passenger side floor section has been professionally cut out and new sheet metal fully welded in and sealed
Under neath has been treated with underbody seal.
front wings were removed cleaned and painted with 3m shultz along with inner sheet metal
The front lower valance has a dent in it on the passenger side
Body wise it is straight with chips in the paint work and premiered areas as per the pictures

I purchased the car with a view to it being an on going project and with having a lot of mechanical work done it drives well and starts every time and is useable

Genuine reason for sale, stupid emails, texts and offers will be ignored. Located in south manchester
