For Sale:
1966 Plymouth Belvedere (GTX)
I call her Bessie, as this was the name of the first owner.
UK registered with current MOT which with no advisories.
Import and Duty taxes all paid for letter to prove this.
2500 spent on parts alone in the last 10 months.
The paint is a special 999 code Richard Petty Blue also known as Corporate Blue
The car even has the original identity tag complete with the original owners address.
Body and paintwork are very good as is the interior (I m not just saying that!)
It has a 440 (7.2l) engine and 727 Torque-flite transmission.
Some of the work I have done over the past year:
Conversion to Pertronix Igniter II electronic ignition.
Fitment of HI Torq Mini Starter
Fitment of 60 Amp alternator kit with new brackets and ARP fixings, belt etc.
New front seatbelts.
New Electronic Dash voltage regulator (protects from common fault of this era mopar)
Speedflow AN oil cooler fittings with stainless braided hose.
Rolling road testing and setup of the engine to set fueling and timing.
New Steering Wheel
New RHS and LHS mirrors
Service Items:
2 oil and filter changes (using millers classic motor oil)
New spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter and fuel hose, change of transmission filter and ATF fluid.
Fresh coolant, thermostat and thermostat housing.
New coolant hoses.
The car has 4 good tyres with lots of tread on, brakes well and straight and overall drives very well.
It has a recent stainless exhaust and also tubed headers in place of the regular cast iron ones.
I have covered over 1500 stress free miles over this last summer.
As you can see I always intended to keep this car for a long time, so why am I selling!?
I think this has been one of the best fun cars I have ever owned, and I ve had a few.
I have been lusting after used Maserati s, they will surely bankrupt me, but you only live once!
