There were no real changes for the 2011 Corvette, so rather than catching our attention during a football game with news of a new package GM opted to create a commercial titled "America Still Builds Rockets".In this commercial, the footage jumps back and forth from members NASA and some of their rockets blasting off into space with clips of GM build team members assembling a Chevrolet Corvette. Slowly but surely, the Corvette comes together as the narrator runs through the similarities between the NASA team and the Corvette build team. The video ends by showing the C6 Corvette ZR1 dancing around a road course, comparing this automotive rocket to the space-bound machines developed by NASA.Crank up your speakers and enjoy this awesome C6 Corvette commercial.Tags: c6, c6 corvette, Corvette, Corvette ZR1, throwback thursday, ZR1
