The Mustang is supercharged, giving the driver hope of beating the Chevy supercar, but those hopes prove to be unfounded when the pony car gets pummeled.The CompetitorsThe race in the dark video above takes place between the OP"s C6 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and a 2015 Ford Mustang GT. In stock form, a C6 ZR1 would destroy an S550 Mustang GT, but the Ford isn"t stock. It has been upgraded with a Gen 3 Whipple supercharger with a 3.75-inch pulley and the supporting modifications needed to make big power.Were the Corvette stock, that Whipple might be enough for the Mustang to compete, but this C6 is not stock. It has "minor bolt-ons" and the engine has been tuned to run on E85. As a result, it is making more than the 638 horsepower that came from the factory and more than enough to slaughter the Mustang. Since the video is so dark, we have used a stock GM photo of the C6 ZR1.The RaceThe two cars go in three from a 60-mile per hour roll. On the hit, the ZR1 immediately jumps out to a big lead and when the driver of the Vette shifts for the first time during the race, the Mustang is already way behind.
