Message from the organisers

We want to carry on the success of our meets through the winter months, so during this time we will be holding some Classic Car Sunday meets in Port Solent. This will be the first one.
For our Winter Morning Meets at 10am in Port Solent, here are the rules… note these are different to usual Classic Car Sunday meets at the Departure Lounge but you can just arrive like normal…
Restaurants nearby for breakfast/brunch and even takeaway teas/coffees.
Dogs welcome!

PORT SOLENT CAR MEET RULES:
All our events are fully insured, sponsored and supported by Port Solent Management.
With careful consideration and to clear up all the confusion regarding the rules of the group/meets the following rules are going to apply:
Cars that are welcome are:
All Hotrods
All Classic Cars / Vehicles (pre-1995)
All American / Australian
All Motor Bikes / Scooters All Supercars
All Porsches
All Electric Vehicles
4OObhp plus Vehicles
Kit Cars
Tractors, Classic Industrial and Military Vehicles
All Emergency Vehicles
If you are unsure if your vehicle fits into the above categories then please email me on
portsolentcarmeet@outlook.com.
You may also email the above if you feel you have an unusual or different vehicle that you would like
To show (if you can include a photograph of your vehicle then that will help enormously).
Please do not be offended if your vehicle is turned away, there is a free public car park immediately adjacent to the event where you can park and still view the cars.
Please be respectful to Port Solent and their visitors by driving sensibly and not playing music.
Please only park within the marked bays and respect other cars.
Please be aware of site signage regarding Covid-19 and observe social distancing guidelines.
Please respect the Marshalls decision
Burnouts, excessive revving of engines and popping will not be tolerated and any transgressors will be asked to leave.
This is a non-political, family and pet-friendly car meet for all to enjoy.
All vehicles must be in place between 10.00 - 12:00 at the latest, after which time no further vehicles will be admitted.
No music or engine revving.
Please drive respectfully when entering and leaving the waterside location.
*Please note Port Solent Car Meet is always looking for new marshals to join the team. If you help marshal our meets consideration may be given to allow your car access to the event, within reason, even if it does not fully comply with the rules.
