Watch out for an email like the one below. It may sound correct, but the link(removed) goes to some rogue site. I guess they want you to type in your account details so they can use your information.
There are a lot of things like this

Due to outdated account details, your licence has been flagged and it will be suspended if you will provide no response at this notification.

How to update your details:


You can change or update details using this platform. You'll be required basic identification documents in hand which will help you in updating the profile with authentic official information.

To update your details, you will need to tell us:
  1. your personal details like date of birth, current address and phone number
  2. your payment method
  3. your official identity information

It`s important we keep our records up to date. It help us keeping track of our licensee and to perform periodic subscription extentions without interrupting the licence service, providing the best of our services to users.

It comes up with an alias of 'TV licencing' the reply address is
donotreply@t-vl.co.uk

Often emails like this will come from multiple different ip addresses, so its not as easy as just banning an IP address or banning the 'from' address as this 'from' address is false anyway as it hasn't come from that domain at all.

All true, but that email address should be fairly obvious to most that it’s not genuine.
I regularly remind staff to check the email address an unexpected email comes from. It it doesn’t look genuine, check it out before doing anything.
