Jay Leno"s Garage is quickly becoming the go to place for new vehicles launches and the first to see specific cars. Two weeks ago, Jay Leno was able to get behind the wheel of the first Cadillac ever to be able to crack 200 miles per hour straight out of the box, the Cadillac CTS-V.Using the LT4 supercharged V8 out of the Corvette Z06, the Cadillac CTS-V makes 640 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. It is an absolute animal, when the car isn"t overheating. However, when it is working and fully functional, the Cadillac CTS-V is a German fighting American the history books talked about. It"s comfortable, classy, and hugely powerful.Using the Alpha platform that also underpins the ATS and new Camaro, the Cadillac CTS-V is also able to corner like a rat on acid, and drift with the best of them. Cadillac has truly built a car for the ages and as soon as they figure out the LT4 issues, it will truly be on par with anything Germany can throw at it.Chime in with your thoughts on the forum. >>Tags: Cadillac, CTS-V, jay leno, Video
