Porn for pontiac owners

JD left Pontiac in 1969 IIRC, long before the Bandit.
True. I'd bet he wouldn't have liked seeing the chicken on a Dodge though lol.
I bow to your greater knowledge, but he was GM? So would MOPAR have been a competitor? Is that right?

Don't bow to him lol

He was Pontiac 66-69 and then Chevy from 69-71 I think.
At least from memory anyway.
Definitely Mopar was/is a competitor.

Has anybody watched the movie Driven about the John Delorean scandal?
We watched it a few weeks ago. I loved the part where John's neighbour Jim Hoffman couldn't start his Pontiac GTO. John reeled off a load of the car's spec, tinkered with it and its V8 barked into life.
Jim said something like "you know these cars then?"...John replied with...."I designed it!"

Not seen it but sound interesting.
He was a contentious person to head GM divisions for those times. At a relatively young age compared to his peers he had a crisis, and started wearing clothes designed to show off the gym body he worked for, divorced his wife of 15 years and married a woman half his age after living a very active social life!!
His lifestyle was not well received for those times.

Sure. You sort of get that about him from the movie...and what a cool customer he was. It's not much about cars and is mainly dialogue, but worth a watch.
