Newbie - Introducing myself

Hi guys.

I already know a few of your from either shows or from the MOCGB site. I did register here once a few years ago, but I re-registered as I can't seem to find my details anywhere.

Anyway, I am based in Eastleigh, and since selling off a business a few years ago (due to poor health) I am now basically retired, so spend my time playing with cars and fishing etc.

I do a lot of work on various marques, but mainly Mustangs - both my own and others.

I have a varying collection, which is always changing it seems and am currently looking for a nice/tidy/solid 67-70 Mustang or Cougar (69/70) Convertible with either a I6 or V8 - it doesn't matter as long as its tidy. Some welding OK obviously.

I have a fully equiped workshop, which is where I hide most of the time.

I expect a lot of you have seen at least one of my Mustangs around the Eastleigh area - always wave or say hi if you see me around.

Anyway, enough from me for now. Hope to meet you all at the summer shows.

Mick

Hi Super dragpack

Welcome to the Renegades i think you will find we are a very friendly and enthusiastic bunch. I have a 1973 Mach 1 affectionately known in the club as the Rustang due to its poor health. Will have to change every panel to restore it,but i like a challenge and am just about to move to a new lock up located in Eastleigh. My collection is a long one as well as i am a massive fan of the blue oval,Ford, currently have seven, six old ones and a modern Mondeo for my sins.

I hope your stay at the Renegades is a happy one, hope to see you soon.

Tally Ho Chocks Away,

Superb!

Sounds like you have your hands full. If you ever need some help give a shout. Do you do the work yourself? I'll keep an eye out for the Rustang.

Hi Mick

I do try and do most of the work myself but as other club members will testify i cant take a while doing it.I used to share a workshop with Insane Ron and crew but had to move out due to family commitments. Now i have a little more time on my hands although am looking after my lovely other half at the moment due to a knee op.I have lots of projects to do which include, a custom 53 mk1 Consul, gasser style mk2 Zephyr, custom moggy pickup, restoring a mk1 Cortina, restoring a mk1 Escort, restoring a 1973 Mach 1 Mustang or as known by the Renegades the Rustang and possibly restoring a 1963 Consul Classic Capri.Thats enough to last a lifetime or more time than ive got left anyway.

My motto is who dies with the most toys wins!! Lol.

Cheers Superb!
