What a turn out
First of all I'd like to say a massive thank you to my friends and crew that heped me on the day and the weeks leading up to the day and Jason Cornish/Graham Lunt for spending the day behing tere lenses taking picks.
The day was supposed to be 10 till 2. What actually happened was people started to arrive at just after 9 and the last left with me at 6.30
We had all sorts of people and cars From the obvious Drag cars, Yanks, rods, drift cars, Jap cars, and just people come to see what was going on. The prize has to go Graham Smith who came down from Derby with Snow White. The Chilli that my Partner Sandra and the cakes made by Stewart Taylors wife and Mark Bartlett all went down really well.
Special thank you has to Go to Mark Norton a evnwith his bitterly cold hands he soldiered on going through the cars that turned as well as Passing Stewart Taylors car to his 8.5 second tag. He couldn't stop smiling all afternoon.
