This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 which has been fitted with the Hennessey Performance HPE850 package. The C7 Z06 is the most powerful factory-stock Corvette of all time, with the supercharged LT4 producing 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque at the engine.Oddly, the HPE850 package isn"t currently listed on the Hennessey website, but I would imagine that it is a more aggressive version of the HPE800 package. That package adds a new lower pulley, high flow cylinder heads with heavy duty components, a Hennessey custom camshaft and a proper tune to bring it all together to make 800 horsepower. The HPE850 package makes 850 horsepower at the engine and while we don"t know for sure what makes the HPE850 package more powerful than the HPE800 package we do know that HPE850 allows the C7 Corvette to put down more than 712 horsepower at the rear wheels.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
