Have just read that Silverstone might not host the 2017 Grand Prix due to "ruinous costs".
Donington has already said it wont host it, so is the future of F1 in England in doubt?
I stopped watching F1 a few years back as I don't enjoy it, but it would be a shame not to have a British event on the calendar.

Edit: apparently it's that they need to exercise a break clause before the 2017 GP. The running of the 2017 race at Silverstone is not in doubt.

There was a time that it was going to be held at brands hatch after a major re vamp of the corse.but obviously that never happened

The roads to and from Silverstone are excellent buy they still get clogged up with traffic on race days.
What are the roads around Brands Hatch like? I've never been there.
