Ever had the idea of fitting an air plane engine to a car?

Certainly different. Not sure if the propeller would be legal, although if you could turn it around change the propeller to a prop shaft. Wonder what that sounds like? Couldn't sneak out on an early sunday cruise without being heard I'm sure.

There is a guy in Australia who has fitted a Merln v12 (Spitfire engine) to a tri-Chevy.

That could be an interesting read.

I saw a car in Guildford around 2002. it was a long car, like an estate but american, have a 27 litre merlin engine in it. Sounded like a bag of bolts, I guess a lot of tappets involved.

I've always like the Boss Hoss, a Harley with a v8 fitted. Either the Chevy 350 small block or a monster 502 big block. Think that would be awesome.
