Hi. I had an accident with my Mondeo ST. Does any one know of a body shop in the Portsmouth area who could help me out?. My insurance want to write the car of, but that isnt going to happen. THey have offered me purchase of the car which is a stupid sum. If I buy back, the car will need to have a new M O T and be inspected by an engineer after repairs. It will then be classed as a cat N damage car. That is also not on so the only course open to me is to pay for the repairs myself and not claim on insurance. THe damage is broken front bumper and grille and paint damage to front and rear nearside wheel arches. Any ideas anyone?.

I used Car Cosmetics in Horndean for my car repairs on the Trans-Am back in 2003.
If you don't mind travelling I'd recommend ACM Auto in Romsey, a couple of Hungarian chaps that have a real eye for detail. Excellent metal work, and spray painted my whole car.
