Yep my sateen air con not been working right for about 4 years . as day off today have to take Dad to hospital later thought I would try getting degassed or reclaim what ever gas was left and order parts from rock auto. But 60quid and 45mins in kwik fit to regas with r134a gas and oil now all nice and cold working very nice.
I have a mobile air con unit. Some nights it gets too hot to sleep, probably less than 10 days a year. So last year was sticking the mobile air con unit on a box and hanging a pipe out the window. Not too efficient with out a window kit.
So really needed a 6 inch hole in the wall.
Another excuse to use my 152mm hole cutter.
Didn't take long to go through.
Inserted flexible pipe to bridge the insulation gap(have a solid pipe coming).
All done, cooling the room down now.
Vent added to the outside.
