Original Frame -- Boxed Kit from Pete Reimer<br />
(Reimer Machine Works, Abbotsford, BC, Canada)<br />
Front Axle -- Dropped Tube -- Tube inside of tube construction. Also built by Pete Reimer. He used to advertise in Street Rod and Custom Magazines, now retired.<br />
Engine, transmission, rear-end assembly -- From 1968 Mustang with 4800 miles. Roadster driven approx. 1000 miles since installed in car. -- Engine is stock with 2 barrel carb. Approx. 220 to 250 H.P.<br />
Rear housings from 1973 Maverick (shorter to allow rear wheels to fit correctly under fenders.<br />
Hairpins -- front and rear.<br />
One scratch above rumble seat handle on body.<br />
Construction started about 1978, finished in 1980. (All original Ford sheet metal.)<br />
1st in Class at Portland Roadster Show (1981).<br />
1st in Class at World of Wheels. Portland (1985)<br />
7 other 1st in Class wins in Portland area (1983 to 1987)<br />
Colour-- Lacquer -- Chevrolet colour -- 1978 or 1979. Name of colour unknown.<br />
5, 15 inch Tru-Spoke chrome wheels (larger on rear). <br />
Using original fuel tank (on cowl) equipped with shut off valve under dash. Chrome Oo-gah Horn. Has Side curtains.<br />
Alternator, Halogen lights (inside original housings and lenses) Radio / tape deck / CB radio combo with electric aerial. Seats re-covered in heavy duty vinyl, includes rumble seat. Built by renowned Excel Automotive in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA This is a high quality, all steel, build and looks dead right. Drives nice and straight and not too fast! More pics available.<br />
