This weekend Santa Pod have been the host to the FIA European Finals. Many classes with teams from all over Europe come together for a drag racing spectacle!
One race today did not go to plan for Pro Stock's Swedish Thomas Lindstrom in his Dodge Stradus. After some pretty nasty tyre shake in the first 100ft his Dodge took off....literally! He is extremely lucky that his tyres didn't get grip again as without a doubt he would have flipped.
Team R/T have reported that both Thomas and his Dodge are 100% fine and needless to say his adrenaline was going crazy afterwards!!
I was lucky enough to have my camera on and ready and caught the whole saga on camera.....
