Just a few days after we saw a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS run a 10.00 at 137 miles per hour, now we have the first 6th gen Camaro SS to break into the 9-second quarter mile barrier. Unfortunately, I haven"t been able to pin down a mod list, but we do know that this car is running a nitrous setup. It is also obvious that this 6th gen Camaro has skinny front tires and fat, sticky tires out back all of which are wrapped around lightweight drag racing wheels.This is the same 2016 Camaro that was the first to break into the mid-10s and when the team did that, they did so with just tires, a tune and a 150 shot of nitrous. However, the information on the Fireball Camaro website explains that this car also went 10.95 without the bottle, so it is clear that more work has been done to get more power from the LT1 engine without the bottle.
