The Honda e now has some numbers attached to it

You should know the Honda e by now. First unveiled as the adorably retro Urban EV at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show, it"s now been seen in its final production spec, just in time for Frankfurt 2019. The biggest difference we can spot compared to the prototype we drove earlier in the year is the disappearance of the word prototype" from its number plate. It"s otherwise unchanged; a slightly taller version of that initial concept with a set of back doors and less interesting wheels added. Cameras-for-mirrors remain (hurrah!) while you"ve a choice of two power outputs. An electric motor operates the rear axle, supplying either 134bhp or 152bhp, though both produce 232lb ft of torque. That"s good for 0-62mph in eight seconds, which is bordering on junior hot hatch territory. It"s quicker than Honda"s sprightliest Jazz, at least.
