Past Events
1st Jun - Can-Am Lazy Sunday 2014
A great day out for all at St.Edwards School for the National CanAm Car Club's Lazy Sunday Show. A great cruise from Rownhams meeting Dave and Clare on the way. The sun stayed out all day and they had a fantastic turn out.

8th Jun - The Southern Alternative Motor Show 2014
What an amazing day! The venue was a full capacity early on in the morning and we were lucky to get in. It was blazing hot, not a cloud in the sky, couldn't have asked for better weather. This show was organised to help raise money for Macmillan Information and Support Centre in Southampton, who Emma, the show organiser, has a great appreciation for after loosing her mum. A humongous ?3620.84 was raised by all who came out for such a great day. And you'll all be pleased to know that Emma will be doing it all again next year!!

14th to 15th Jun - Beaulieu Custom & Hot Rod Festival
Custom Hot rod festival at Beaulieu was another hot weekend enjoyed by many. Sarah, her brother and myself camped over on the Saturday in the Victory Wheelers camp. The band in the evening were fantastic and got a lot of people up dancing and enjoying the night. The Sunday was the main show. So many clubs, cars and bike came out to enjoy the day.

15th Jun - Southsea Cruise
Again, an amazing turnout for our monthly cruise. This time we had just over 50 vehicles turn up. We had lots of few faces this time so it was great to meet new members and see older ones too.

28th June - Denmead School Fete
Confirmed with organisers that we will be attending. Meeting on the hill to leave around 11.30am to be parked up by noon.

28th June - Chelsea Cruise
Chelsea Cruise Saturday 28th, Meet up hill for 17:00. Cuda Carl leading the cruise to Krispy Creme. Subject to weather. So if you are doing Denmead show there is time to do this too.

28th June - The Gratton Festival 2014
The Gratton is in the centre of Sutton Scotney opposite the Texaco Garage post code for sat navs is SO21 3LA. This is a fundraising event for the Gratton Trust; a family fun day - rural craft displays and stalls, children's games etc. followed by an evening concert. We have a display of vintage fire engines because our local retained service is 75 years old this year, plus a few local cars of distinction. We are hoping for a few more interesting cars or motor bikes, for adult interest.

4th July - Poole Quay - Open top sports cars
Poole Quay has many themed month during the summer months. This one is convertible sports cars.

5th July - Waterlooville Car Show 2014
Saturday 5th July 2014 is the annual Classic Motor Show in Waterlooville Town Centre, a popular free family fun day out 10am to 3pm. We have 20 passes for this event.

6th July - Drive Through Time (Motor Gala) 2014
So, Sunday 6th July 2014 is the Drive Through Time Motor Gala. Pre-book only, if you havn’t already booked, its too late now.

6th July - CanAm Independence Day Show & Shine.
Angel Inn, 188 Ringwood Road, Ferndown. BH22 9PA. 1000 to 1600. At the end of this event the Can-am club are going a cruise to Milford-on-sea, so we are invited to join in if we like.

6th July - Heathrow Classic Car Show
The show has been running for over ten years and was founded by the now defunct British Airways Classic Vehicle Association (BACVA). After the last BACVA show in 2006, which attracted around 450 vehicles, the show was inherited by BA Clubs, the sports and leisure organisation of British Airways. It’s a proper show – with categories to cater for the wide range of vehicles we welcome each year.

11th to 13th July - Dragstalgia at Santa Pod Raceway.
Some of the Solent Renegades are going to Santa Pod for an amazing weekend of drag racing. We do have the opportunity for a club stand, so if you are interested in coming along please let myself or Sarah know.

13th July - Punchbowl Inn at Ockley
They now are holding a monthly meeting/gathering for all petrolheads on the 2nd sunday of each month so the first one will be 13th july from midday onwards

20th July - Burseldon Brickworks
There are a couple of events at Burseldon Brickworks Museum this year, and Pam has asked if some American cars can attend. Meet on the hill to leave at 9.30am to convoy down, we need to use the front entrance to the Brickworks this time.

20th July - Southsea Cruise
The summer monthly cruise around old Portsmouth and Southsea. Also known as the Pompey cruise. Cruise at 7pm.

25th to 27th July - Mopar European Nationals
Santa Pod are hosts to this year's Nationals. A weekend of pure American Muscle with a RWYB, lots of drag racing, show and shine, burnout competition, cruises, muscle car drift arena, live music, traders and of course camping! Weekend tickets are ?45 or purchase Saturday/Sunday individual tickets for ?23.

25th to 27th July - Hot Rod Hayride 2014
10th anniversary of the hot Rod Hayride.

25th July to 27th July - Bongo Bash 2014
The event is held on 25th to the 27th of July 2014. Its a Custom Car, Bike & Trike show. This is at the Six Bells, Chiddingly, East Sussex. BN8 6HE Trade stalls, live bands, cruise out, games, beer. Day visitors ?3 entry, Weekend Camping is ?15 pre book, or ?20 on the gate.

26/27 July -Old Fossils weekend 2014
Tickets at ?10 each for the Saturday night dance include a ploughman's meal and entertainment from the band 'Forever Young'. The 50 mile bike ride on Sunday is around Hampshire and West Sussex and anyone wanting further information or offering help, please have a word with Mick Bowley or go to the Waterlooville Motor Cycle Club

27th July -Bordon 999 Emergency Service Show
In the Army town of Bordon Hampshire including a festival of music & Dance in aid of The Help For Heroes and The Royal British Legion Charities part of the show is to have Exhibitors of classic/ custom cars

3rd Aug - Goodwood Breakfast Club - Thoroughbred Sunday
Turning the clock back to the golden era of the Goodwood Motor Circuit, this is the big day for pre-1966 cars and bikes. Motoring nostalgia doesn’t get better than this. Pre Register only.

17th Aug - Stars & Stripes Brooklands
A day devoted to stars and stripes as Brooklands welcomes some magnificent Mustangs and a whole host of American cars. Expect a feast of chrome and colour with some gleaming Dodges, Chryslers, Hot Rods and Customs in and around the Paddock.

25th Aug - Petersfield Festival
Vehicles to arrive between 9am and 10am and parked up till 3pm where we leave via a parade via the crowds in the high street.

30th Aug - Abbotts Ann Festival of Motoring 2014
The Abbotts Ann event is held on the 30th August 2014. This year’s Abbotts Ann car show ‘The Abbotts Ann Festival of Motoring’ still reflects the enthusiasm and the eclectic mix of vehicles that people in the area have and are interested in.

Raffle tickets for Charity
Joy Sang is selling tickets on behalf of three charities, one being the Rowans Hospice. The top prize are 2 Virgin Balloon flights, 2nd prize is ?50 cash. Tickets are ?1 each or a book for ?5.

Car Club T-Shirts and Polo Shirts

Nigel (black mustang) found a place that can embroider our club logo onto Polo shirts and Fleece's. I supplied a copy of our large logo which was ideal for this. The results were very good.
Polo shirts will be White, and the Fleece will come in black or blue.
Polo Shirts are ?25, and the Fleece will be ?30
So if anyone is interested just let me know.

There are some sew on Renegades logo patches left, ideal for the back of a jacket.

Renegade Email Accounts
Also the club website can offer email accounts too. So if you want an email account like fred@solent-renegades.co.uk then please let me know by sending me an email of your choice of name, plus a password you want to log in with to dan@solent-renegades.co.uk, and I will get this setup for you. You can pick up your emails though Webmail, much like hotmail all online, or it can be set up to be picked up via Outlook or another email client on your PC / tablet or phone. It's no bother at all to set you up with an email account.

Have your car featured on the front of the website
There is an article section in the front page of the website. Have your car featured here, just do a write up about your car with photos and email it on to me and I will get it up on the site, and also in the Club Car Article section. No one has done this yet, so do you want to be the first?
