Hi Dan, i'm still about. C4 dead at the moment, electrical fault. I have a recon dash module ready to fit and a new set of Hedman hedders, which are being sand blasted ready for painting. I hope you are all keeping safe and well in these scary times. Hope to see you soon when better times return. John.

pictures we need pictures and more pictures

Hi John, Great to hear from you. Hope you are keeping well. Electrical faults are not easy to find. Fingers crossed you can fix it. Those headers will look and sounds great. At least with the C4 you can show them off at shows, when ever shows start again who knows...

As mentioned pictures

Is that the usual digital dash problem you have had - saw an episode of a show that showed this being done :) Good luck in getting the car back together :)

Hi Dan. Going to get some jobs done on the C4. I have 2 new next door neighbours. One is a total prick and the other one is a great guy, and a car man. He has an early Skyline which is undergoing major restoration. His daily driver is a AUDI RS4. Awsome tool. The real bonus is, he is a BMW trained mechanic and works for Rolls Royce. He sorts our car problems for us, and is going to fit the new Hedman hedders and sort the rest of the exhaust system on the C4. I will be 78 this year and I still love my cars, but it is easier to pay someone else to do what needs doing. Once the Corvette is a bit better sorted, it is the Cossie's turn for some superficial attention. I need to carry on decorating the house which is easier to manage . But now the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to get a little bigger and we are creeping slowly towards summer, things are looking brighter. I look forward to seeing you guys again when we are able to do so again. Everybody stay safe and well.

When they start to go wrong, they are a right pain. I have a reconditiond one done by a specialist in the USA, exchange cost £460. They are BATEE. they do kits and parts to self carry out repairs but I went for broke and exchanged the unit. I watched Wheeler Dealers some years ago when they did a C4. It was misleading regarding sourcing parts and costs. Many are scarce and the prices are sky high. Then shipping and taxes Ouch. Actually taking it out and refitting is easy. I have done it a few times and have discovered short cuts that work. The recon unit is in store indoors until spring. They dont like water and the C4s are renowned for leaky roofs. Not good. Probably stopped it leaking after a lot of attempts. Just need to pretty it up a bit. The price we pay for the sound of a V8.

Yes can't beat a v8. Good luck with C4
