This nasty burnout comes to us from the YouTube channel of vlogger Kasey Nesselrotte, who happens to own a C5 Chevrolet Corvette. In this particular video, Kasey and his Corvette are visiting a local tire store for some new rubber, but before getting rid of the old tires, he wants to send them off in a grand fashion. Of course, there is no better way to say goodbye to old tires than the cook off the remaining tread with a high performance car and the good people at Wildwood Tire Co gave Kasey permission to do a massive burnout right in front of their shop.ALSO SEE: LS1Tech Forum Burnout Methodology After a short introduction, the burnout action begins with a slow-motion, close-up view of the right rear tire of the Corvette beginning to smoke. The camera pans out and the video resumes full speed, showing the C5 Corvette cooking the rear tires and creating a massive cloud of smoke. It is hard to tell how long this first burnout lasts, as there are clearly multiple cameras at work and the footage jumps around, offering us different angles of the dark green Corvette in action. However, the amount of smoke created during this initial burnout is incredible filling the car, the parking lot and maybe even part of this Florida town.After the first burnout is complete, Kasey and his Corvette reposition for another smoke session as what appears to be a Nissan drift car pulls out of the garage in the background.
