This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS in a baseline testing session with Lingenfelter Performance Equipment. Lingenfelter almost certainly have big plans for the new Camaro, but before adding parts, they need to see how much the new Camaro SS makes in stock form. The folks at Hennessey found that their 2016 Camaro SS with the manual transmission made over 430 rear wheel horsepower, but the Lingenfelter crew found that their new Camaro made just over 400 horsepower which is more reasonable considering that the Corvette Stingray with the same engine makes just over 400 rear wheel horsepower. There is no information on which transmission this 2016 Camaro SS has, but we can see that it has the dual mode performance exhaust and while we don"t know if that exhaust setup adds any power, we know that this Camaro laid down 409 rear wheel horsepower and 420 lb-ft of rear wheel torque.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
