Looking for a ridiculously fast, old school muscle car, with the fit, finish and attention to detail of a show car?You are in luck if you are in the Los Angeles area and have an extra $75,000 burning a hole in your pocket, because this crazy 1st generation Camaro just popped up on Craigslist. The seller doesn’t reveal himself, but looking at the pictures he sure does have a lot of nice toys. This is old school coolNo matter how advanced new school motors like the LS, the Ford Coyote, and the 21st century Hemi get, for some people you are never going to beat the big block Chevy when it comes to making power. Likewise, no matter how efficient and easy to plump turbochargers are, they just don’t have the same look as a big honking blower sticking up through a hole in the hood. The build sheet on this one is gonna sound a blast from the past and bring a tear to the eye of the over 40 crowd. It has a Dart BBC block, forged steel crank and rods, 9 to 1 pistons, Dart heads, full roller valve train, Wieand 8-71 blower, dual 750 Holley double pumper carbs, all lit off by a Petronix ignition. The rolling stock is similarly old school, with super wide Mickey Thompson Pro Street tires on Weld racing wheels. This whole car could have been built in the Pro Street crazy 80s, if not for some Pro Touring grade brakes and suspension. #gallery-3 { margin: auto; } #gallery-3 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-3 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-3 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */ <br style="clear: both" />
