Best of/Compilations - good but.....

As per title

How many of you have bought 'Best of's/ greattist hits etc' Thinking .....That will be good for the car and forgotten how good the original albuam in it's original form was?

Just listened to 'Hunky Dory' and was amazed at what I had forgotten.

Yes my dad's just brought 5 best of albums for his new car (1st car to have a cd player) it dose remind you of some great songs but also some bad ones

For as long as I can remember I have been creating my own compilations.
First from tape to tape, then by burning cd's and now by creating playlists. It's rare I like every or even most songs on an album or purchased compilation so this saves listening to them or forwarding past, a real pain in the days of tape
