Somewhere in the UK is a man named Steve North. Steve really likes Fords. Steve previously built an Escort Mk2 rally car, but after entering a couple of events he sold it to fund this. This is a fully-custom Transit campervan, converted by Ford-accredited partners MS-RT and Wellhouse Leisure at a cost of 77,000. That"s a lot of money for Steve to fork out. And unfortunately for Steve, Ford has now announced that it will build its own Transit camper that it first showed us earlier this year. Steve must be furious, although it may please Steve to know that Ford"s own camper is called the Transit Custom Nugget. How strange. Anyway, back to Steve. His camper started life as a long-wheelbase Transit Custom, but the rear now houses a full kitchen, a leather-clad seating area and a starlit Alcantara roof that extends to accommodate the attic bed.
