1966 Ford Mustang coupe with V5C and age related UK registration recently imported from the states.<br />
All the parts listed below as new are brand new and have only done a total of 31 miles on a private area.<br />
Please don t consider this Mustang if you want a ready to go needs nothing doing nice soft run of the mill cruiser that you can jump in and go for a Sunday drive in because this one certainly isn t the one for you. Because of the way its set up it has rattles and squeaks and rides hard but it s a very very quick car that corners like its on rails.<br />
As you can see in the description it has all new parts used in fact the only remaining original parts to the car as it stands now are the body and the rear axle casing.<br />
The new owner would have to be someone who has a good mechanical knowledge and be able to work on and set up this class of cars, when this Mustang was listed last time people were asking me if they could jump in and drive it to London.<br />
The front suspension, steering, carburettor and timing are all fitted to the car more or less straight out of the box and will all require proper aliment and fine tuning. <br />
There are a couple of things remaining to be addressed body wise the front and rear screens are getting a bit milky at the bottom but are still serviceable at the moment. The body is good but will require a couple of small repairs to be addressed.<br />
Also the paintwork is very rough it looks like it has been applied with a yard brush but then you can paint it any colour you want, As the thing is such a brute I was just going to run it as is or in grey primer or matt black until I got around to getting it properly painted.<br />

This Mustang has had a fortune spent on new parts fitted to it so far making it a quick and good handling car. It is UK registered with an age-related number. But with a little more investment in paint and some trim it will be a near new Mustang in the end.<br />

The one and only reason this Mustang is being offered for sale or trade is because I recently had a major operation to have the big c removed but it s not going away and after thirty odd years of working on V8 muscle cars, Harleys, rods and the odd armoured car and old military vehicles am now finding things too painful to work on vehicles now.<br />
