This week"s Burnout video is only 12 seconds long, but it is an exciting 12 seconds, featuring the 2016 Chevrolet COPO Camaro in its first on-screen action. The 6th gen COPO Camaro is shown here in the burnout box at Bradenton Raceway in Florida and while we don"t get to see the new race-only muscle car romp down the quarter mile this footage is nothing short of awe-inspiring.As the video begins, the white 2016 COPO Camaro is sitting in the burnout box, giving us a chance to hear the choppy idle of what I would guess is the supercharged 350 cubic inch engine option. After a few seconds at idle, the driver brings the engine up to the two-step limiter and lets"er rip. Almost instantly, smoke pours from the rear tires as the new COPO Camaro rolls forward out of the water. That"s all that we get, but I imagine that everyone will love this short footage of the 2016 COPO Camaro cleaning off the tires until GM rolls out the video of the full quarter mile pass. Tags: 2016 Camaro, 6th Gen Camaro, Burnout Fridays, camaro, Copo, COPO Camaro
