We went down to old Portsmouth yesterday to see our new aircraft carrier HMS Prince Of Wales come in. It was pretty packed down there. She looked massive as she passed us at the Harbour entrance by Quebec House. It's reassuring to know money is being spent on defence given the world we now live in!
Wow that is huge. I thought Ark Royal was big. I went on the Ark Royal when my brother was in the Navy and he had a “Navy Days” down in Portsmouth. His best friend (who is no longer with us ) was based on her
Yeah, it looked pretty impressive. It's the sister ship to HMS Queen Elizabeth which is the same size apparently. That also looked immense when it came in lol.
