Seen it around before, but not for a long time.

Did you stick a solent renegade card under wiper blade

Don't recall seeing that one around.

Not seen (immediately) but heard.
A neighbour (that we refer to as Jackass due to his inability to reverse without excess revving of the engine and lots of clutch slip) might have changed his car.
Normally the driver of a lowered and after market exhaust equipped 2011 Audi, he woke me up at 1:50am this morning by returning home with something V8 powered. I could tell immediately it was an old school American V8 and not something from the land of sausage, sauerkraut and beer!
At that time of the morning the streetlights are out so I could not see what it was but this morning revealed a 60’s Chevy Pickup with a smallblock. Nicely Patina’d but whether it’s real patina or painted on I don’t know, not got close enough to it yet.
Be interesting to see if it returns or whether it was a temporary thing and the Audi returns. But perhaps, just maybe this young man has had an epiphany?

When I worked on Waterberry drive I used to drive past it parked up near Jim Stokes workshop. Don't recall seeing it at any shows though.

Was behind this heading back to work this afternoon. Looks like a Ford Thunderbird?
Can't say I can recall seeing it before.

Maybe he's not that young and it's a mid life crisis lol :p

He’s 21, thats young compared to me!?

It’s a permanent change. The Audi appears to have gone. I will say watching him and mates play with technology they have never seen - a carburettor - is fun. No use of a timing light, vacuum gauge or an exhaust gas analyser. They tweaked the mixture screws to try and make cold starting easier and it was so rich we could smell it in the house!

Are you going to share your wisdom with them or watch them struggle for a bit longer?

I really don’t want to get involved if I’m honest.
The owner knows I own the Challenger but has no clue I used to run old American too. If he asks, or if I see the other neighbours getting upset from the constant start/tweak/start routine......

Spotted in Denmead this afternoon, well heard first, only saw it for a few seconds but further research points to a 68 Buick Skylark. Blue convertible with white top. Thought it was Mick at first but I think his 'vert ia a Chevy. Any ideas?

Might be Sarah's sorry swmnbo new toy lol in her dreams lol

Saw this one today for the first time, turning into Milton Road.
Not seen it any shows(not that we have had many for a long time) but it was parked on Waterberry drive by Jim Stokes workshop for a long long time, thought perhaps it was owned by someone who worked there.

Not quite our cup of tea but spotted an imaculate 1987 Nissan Bluebird at ASDA today. Sorry no pics!

There’s a couple of lovely condition retro Jap cars In Waterlooville. I’ve also seen a mint condition slightly customed Laurel up near the Tesco in Stakes as well.

When I was young, I wanted a Datsun Z car. Couldn't afford one or insure it!

They’re still good looking cars. Some of the Jap cars of that era are design classics. Was watching that program about the auction house in Yorkshire the other day (can never remember the name) and they had this little Honda sports car I’d never seen before, from 1967 I think it was, that was absolutely stunning.

Mathewsons. Bangers and cash.

I liked the z 280 looked at a couple in Billingshurst many years agp rusty as fek
