I’d have it and the Rover in front of it. But it needs the bumpers put back on and those air horns would have to go!

You said you miss having a car you can work on. Perhaps this is an ideal project?
 
That does look mean. I quite like the shape of Capris. But I drove a 2.8 injection once in the wet and found it a bit unwieldy and unpredictable during oversteer. I recall repeatedly bashing my elbow on the drivers door while fighting the thing lol. It was quite a new one at the time too. That put me off them really.
I was into Sierras at the time and found them much more obedient to drive. Probably due to their superior suspension setup I guess.
 
Based on looks alone, I prefer the MK1 shape but don't forget the earliy 60's Consul Capri - So American in style.....

I love those! (y). I had the Consul Classic. Not as nice looking as the Capri, a bit like an oversized Anglia 105E...the rear window sloped inward and never got wet lol.
That was the first car I drove after passing my test.
 
chris there is one of them capri here in mid wales with a blue mustang as well

should of brought a property with more space A/T then just think of the projects you could have

Had 4 capris in my time would i have one now properly not but still look very nice cars CCI still going? was a member and did articales for there magazine back in the day
