What have you done to your vehicle today?

The Holley is back together and back on the car. But I am not going to try and start it yet, partly because I will need to pull the car forward out of the garage which will be quite difficult at the moment, but also because I want to empty the tank and flush the fuel lines through. The amount of powdery residue in the carb was unbelievable, I wish I had taken pictures of it.

Changed gearbox oil on duster that was fun.

Changed both track rod end dust covers on my CRV daily. They came up as an advisory in the MOT recently.

Those clips are fun to put. Well done

One other point I forgot to mention, the CRV was pulling to the left a bit, so I tried swapping the front wheels over. It has completely corrected the pull! The steering is lighter too. So I guess it could have been caused by uneven tyre wear? 🤔.
Has anybody else ever had that?
Maybe the tracking is out?

Nice work. Looks like basepoint car park, it has many uses. :)

Hope the tyres are not directional ones?????

Cleaned out the screen wash jets on audi

First clean of the year. Nice sunny day for it, I'll take it out for about a 20mile drive.

This should probably be on the great British garden revival thread really, but it turned into a mechanic job lol. Today I went to cut the grass for the first time this year and the old petrol mower wouldn't start 🤔.
It had a good spark at the plug so I took the carb off. The little priming bulb was perished inside and I found the carb diaphragm gasket split. They do the bits on eBay cheap enough. Maybe I should go for a Holley 😆

I ditched my old petrol mower in favor of battery a couple of years ago.

It burnt petrol and oil in equal amounts and no compression. The only way to start it was by removing the pull start and attacking the engine with an electric drill and socket!

booked the audi in for MOT
