Well, not much. The plan was to change the thermostat in the Challenger to a lower 185f one.
But things didn't go well. First, the car wouldn't unlock on the fob. Retrieved the spare fob, same thing.
Both fobs had new batteries very recently but I changed one of the fob batteries just to be sure. Nothing.
This meant I had to unlock the car with the actual key. I was hesitant as I knew the alarm would go off. But it didn't.....
And nether did the interior lights come on, so a dead battery.
The lights were off so that hadn't drained it. Oh well, investigate that later. The immediate issue is the battery is under the floor of the boot, the boot doesn't have a key lock and it won't open on fob or the dash button because the battery is flat!
Fortunately I know someone small enough to climb in through the back seats and pull the release cable!
Grab my jump box and hook it up, turn the key and click. Not enough charge in the jump box either.
Give it up in disgust. Come in and put the jump box on charge. But what caused the flat battery? Like an idiot I left the dash cam running after the season closer. It's quite low draw but I guess after two weeks....
    Oh well, maybe next weekend.

You know the rules picture or video . Of small person climbing into small space lol,,,,

On more serious note batery in boot ok but when you have a problem like this and you didnt have small person (lol) is there not a hook up point in engine bay? in my works van the battery was in passenger foot well under floor remove floor tray to gain acces so need extra long leeds to jump start it but when you look in engine bay there is a hook up point for leads to make it easy.

pps just a reminder DON'T LEAVE DASH CAM ON

There is a hook up point in the engine bay, but with the car forwarded into the garage there is no room to get to it without moving the car!!
I can change the power hookup for the dash cam so that it turns off about 10mins after I turn the engine off but I did it this way to record car parks etc.

Yes, never leave dash cam plugged in for this long.

Lucky you have a small person, perhaps every Challenger should come with one or at least be able to hire them out from a DIY store. . I have my camera wired into ignition live, however this doesn't record when your car is parked which can be useful sometimes, especially when my Kia got hit and they drove off (all repaired now)
