• Petersfield Spring Festival Monday 25th May 2015

Petersfield/Hometown Festivals made sure Spring has finally sprung for the Petersfield Spring Festival at the end of May. Held throughout the whole of Petersfield Town Centre, the Petersfield Spring Festival features 3 days of top quality music, 2 days of fantastic markets stalls, as well as family entertainment including an Animal Magic petting zoo, ceramic painting, face painting, children’s rides and much more. The car club were invited to take part in providing some cars on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May. The club met up at Morrison in Horndean to leave at 9.15am. We had 12 vehicles in on the convoy up the A3 it was a great sight to see. As we arrived we were greeted by Steve Jacob, the organiser for the Monday's event. All parked up with no problem at all.

View from Alec's van of the convoy following him.

Steve made us feel very welcome, and if we can provide more cars next year it would be much appreciated. So that's sounds like a challenge, so next year we may be able to team up with some other clubs to get a greater gathering.

The market stalls were great, plenty of tempting stalls for food. Cakes and Fudge were my weakness, there was coffee stalls too and much much more. Something to keep us busy all day, and didn't the day just whizz past quick. The live music on stage was a really good mix too. Large stage with many different act's on during the day. Many people gathering around and enjoying it all.

A few photos from the meet at Morrisons before hand.

At the end of the day we all left at 4pm, marshalled out, which was great to parade past the public as they were watching us leave. A few members of the public asked us to rev the cars, and of course we couldn't resist.
