    help needed

I am not a tech person when it comes to I.T. or computers etc . So I have been tasked to put together a data stick of music, some of which i need access to a music database to transfer songs on to a stick . I have tried to find various online sites but most say you cant transfer to a stick or a rewritable disc .

Its for a special party later this year where we want to be able to take a data stick and the DJ will play whats on it but i need to find the right website to get the music either paid or free !! amazon says you cant transfer same as spotify . any help appreciated thank you

Any MP3 down load site will enable you to purchase and download the music you want.
I can’t recommend any, as I am an iTunes user however.
An internet search using your favourite search engine will help.

hi thanks , did an exhaustive search and on free mp3 sites some came up with warnings about virus also the ones that did open ok when you search for a simple album say eagles or genesis etc it comes up nothing found but lots of strange albums that ive never heard of !!!

most mainstream sites like amazon , etc etc wont allow you to transfer the music its fine for download to a phone or laptop but they encrypt it . will try charity shops to find cd's that will allow transfer to stick !!

How about buying a cheap iPod? You can buy an iPod shuffle quite cheaply. Then buy the music you want from
    iTunes.
Then plug the aux out socket into an amp and bingo....

Yes, but you would use iTunes to purchase the music you needed, but iTunes can also rip music from Cd’s. So if you already have any of the music on CD there is zero cost.
I still buy my music on Cd preferring to own the copy, and then rip into iTunes before syncing it with my devices.

Every CD I have had i have transferred to MP3, using a tool called FreeRip, FreeRIP: CD to MP3 Converter, Audio Converter, Converter MP3, Convert MP3 to WAV, FLAC to MP it also saves the name of the MP3 files as the track name. I can then play an album or random, or even copy the files and make a CD for the car. This is probably the same in iTunes too. You are no breaking any copyright as ts all for personal use and you own the original CD. It could still take a while to put together 200 tunes. I wonder how DJ's do it, perhaps they have brought a job lot of music, but they always seem to have the one you request.

    Good luck in your mission.
