Organised by the Solent Renegades. 2007 was the first annual show the Renegades Car Club have organised. Its was held on the grounds of Portsmouth Rugby Club. Classic, American, Hot -Rods, custom cars turned up.
Splended Turnout
50-60 cars were expected, and around 150 turned up, which was superb. Was good to see so many cars at an event that was only thought about 8 weeks before the show. Just think how large the event could be if it was advertised for longer.

Magazines/Newpapers
Classic American magazine came to the show to take some photos, not sure if they interviewd anyone but will certainly have a look in their next edition of the magazine.
| The evening news attended, and in the Monday 13th paper a writeup was written by Rob Dabrowski of The News who wrote:- |
Yesterday crowds were wowed by 150 American cars and hot-rods. About 700 people turned up to see the display, which was put on to raise money for charity. The Solent Renegades car club was behind the show which took place at Portsmouth Rugby Club, Norway Road, Hilsea. |
Chairman of the club Steve Puddick said he was overjoyed with the event. 'We had the show and awards were handed out and it was a great day' he said. 'I was hoping for maybe 60 or 70 cars, so it was great that so many turned out.' The day raised about £500 for the Portsmouth Heart Support Group. |
| There was a photo of Peter Toone's 1960 Cadillac in the newpaper too. |

Show Cars
The show cars originally had to pre-enter with the Entry Form. This was to get a idea of numbers. For our first event we wouldn't want to turn away any American or classic vehicle.
Public Admission
The entry fee was £5.00 per couple, £3.00 single - no charge for accompanied children under 15 years. Many people were pleased kids went free. Will be a simular arrangement for next year.
Refreshments
Refreshments were available, including BBQ & licensed bar. The Portsmouth Rugby Club done all the refreshments which was a great help. There was also a donut van, ice cream van and a good selection trader stands. So thanks to all that attended.
