General information about Renegades Summer Car Show
Organised by the Solent Renegades. Its held on the grounds of Portsmouth Rugby Club. Show cars to be parked up by 9.30am. Public entry from 10am-4pm. Fingers crossed for great weather. Well over 100 show cars expected of all shapes and sizes. American and Classic cars, hot rod's and bikes. Refreshments in the grounds of the rugby club. Will be music, and prize giving. Money raised goes to charity.
The Renegades Summer Car Show event on 17th of August 2008
What a splendid day. Weather held up good. Since about the Tuesday before the weather forcast was always forcasting rain. It stayed dry all week until Saturday night when there was a small spinkle of rain. Field was good, and stayed dry.
Many cars / bikes/ vans and trucks turned up. Was great to see so many peoples pride and joys coming out.
There was also a Radio station broadcasting the event, many thanks to Express FM for doing that.
