Classic American Car Show Events for 2010 - 2011

Many classic American car show events go on during the year, we have listed ones near by and ones the Solent Renegades may attend. Many future events, however its certainly not all. If you know of an event that should be listed here then please email us. The events listed are not all organised by the Solent Renegades Car Club only the ones with the Renegades logo next to it. This page is used to list local events in the area just like a newspaper, we cannot be held responsable for an event that has a bad turnout.

Can Am Nationals

Annual event put on by the Can Am Car Club, St Leonards, near Ringwood Hampshire. Before 2008 it was known as Can-Am Festival of Motoring. The event generates money for local charities including the Wessex Autistic Society in 2004, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance Trust in 2005, Huntington's Disease in 2006. The main show is generally held in August, this event is organised by the show committee, who put on a really great show. In 2005 the venue for this show was moved to a new location.
NOTE:We must try and support the Can-Am club if possible, they came to our event.

Wessex Classic Car Show

Located at Bovington Tank Museum.
This ever popular car show, run by Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Dorset Region, www.dorset-jec.org, returns to the Tank Museum, Bovington on Sunday 5th September 2010.

Prebooked entry is: Car and driver + 1 passenger £6 + £2 per extra passenger
Entry on the day: Car + 1 passenger = £7 + £2 per extra passenger

Portsmouth / Southsea Cruise

Meet in he public car park oppersite clarance peir. This event is now run by the Solent Renegades. No Burnouts please. Many cars turn up and go for a cruise around old Portsmouth and along Southsea seafront, many American and Classic cars.

Alton Herald Classic Car Show

The Annual Classic Car Show and Rally is in alton town square. Last year was their most successful yet and they hope to repeat the succesful pre-event rally, which attracted so many additional cars and motorcycles. Once again the event will be combined with the French Market and will have musical entertainment in the Market Square.
