Classic American Car Show Events for 2009 - 2010

Many classic American car show events go on during the year, we have listed ones near by and ones the Solent Renegades may attend. Many future events, however its certainly not all. If you know of an event that should be listed here then please email us. The events listed are not all organised by the Solent Renegades Car Club only the ones with the Renegades logo next to it. This page is used to list local events in the area just like a newspaper, we cannot be held responsable for an event that has a bad turnout.

Waterlooville Classic Show

Waterlooville Classic Motor Show is taking place on Waterlooville Shopping Precinct There will be music (and compere/DJ Tony Smith) from Angel Radio, four sessions from the Blendworth Brass Band / Agglestone band and fun things for the youngsters as well We invite insured and road legal classic vehicles to this showcase event which is free to the public. This event has run successfully for some years and is always enjoyed by exhibitors and the shopping public alike. The Havant Mayor presents awards Five categories Best Foreign car, Best British Car, Mayor's Choice, Best dressed driver to the era of his/her vehicle and Mayors Choice bike. Vehicles should arrive before 9 to be fully set up before 10, drip trays should be used and vehicles should stay for the day (leaving after 3pm).

Portsmouth / Southsea Cruise

Meet in he public car park oppersite clarance peir, after 6pm free parking. This event is now run by the Solent Renegades. No Burnouts please. Many cars turn up and go for a cruise around old Portsmouth and along Southsea seafront, many American and Classic cars.

Old Fossils 50s/60s

Sat 25th July at Horndean Technology College 7.30pm 50s/60s dance to 5 piece band called Forever Young. Tickets 6 each, ploughmans available to purchase on the evening, a raffle with all profits going to The Rowans and subsidised beer!!

Old Fossils 50s/60s

Sunday 26th July Old Fossils Bike Run for pre 1985 bikes signing on at the college from 9.30am with the 50 mile run leaving at 11am. 10 entry to include a packed lunch on return to the college.

Worthing Rod and Custom

Once known as Worthing Sunny Sunday, new organisers have named it Worthing Rod and Custom. This event is located in Steyne Gardens, Worthing, West Sussex. Many American, Classic cars and bikes turn up to this superb event. Good for the whole family. Refreshments, live band.

Renegades Summer Car Show

Organised by the Solent Renegades. Its held on the grounds of Ford Nelson. Show cars to be parked up by 9.30am. Public entry from 10am-4pm. Fingers crossed for great weather. Well over 100 show cars expected of all shapes and sizes. American and Classic cars, hot rod's and bikes.
Refreshments in the grounds of Fort Nelson. Will be music, and prize giving. Money raised goes to charity.
