• Renegades Start of Season Show 2018

Show by the Solent Renegades on the 3rd Sunday of AprilThis year the start of season show fell on Sunday 15th April 2018. The event is at the Farmhouse Pub, off the eastern Road, Portsmouth. The renegades do two shows a year at the Farmhouse. The one the year before last saw almost 200 vehicles.

All money raised is for charity. This year we raised £420 raised for the Rosemary Foundation.

The Farmhouse laid on a hog roast, and for only £4 it was a very good portion of meat in a bun. hoping they do this again. The show is free entry for vehicles and public.

The show will be followed by the first Southsea Cruise of the year.Location:- The Farmhouse, Burrfields Rd, Hampshire PO3 5HH, Map>>

Same day as the AAC spring nationals. I am just not motivated this year.

Ok, so the AAC spring nationals is cancelled. So that should leave me free for this event....
Unfortunately I have a bad back and don’t fancy 2 hours in the car each way. Will see how I am in the morning.

Look after your back, you only get one. How is the van, would it be more comfortable for Clare to drive?

A few photos of the car that attended the cruise too:- http://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/me...il-2018-a.html

That GTO was very nice. Sounded nice too. It was on the short list for winning an award and so was the 2nd gen Trans-Am.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped with the show and thanks to all who attended, with or without a vehicle. Despite the wet afternoon it was still a great show with a good turnout and a nice cruise in the evening too. Well done guys!

      The Orange ‘75?
That car had a lot of micro blisters in the paint at one time. It used to belong to Simon Bick until recently (less than 3 years ago) a compadre from the days when I ran the Classic Trans-Am register and club.
      Has it been repainted?

Good show as allways, Thanks to the organizers and stewards etc., working in the rain is no fun at the best of times. Good turn out despite the Tangmere show on the same day.

It was a tad wet when we packed away the gazebo and flags, if we waited another half hour it could have dried out a bit, buy we didn't know what the weather would do. so i really needed to get this dried out, nice weather today, so got it out. Baked in the sun, nice and dry now.
