• The Rally of The Giants 2016

Blenheim Palace Saturday & Sunday 9/10th July 2016

Hosted by the Pre50 American Auto Club the Rally of the Giants is the BEST AMERICAN CAR SHOW IN THE UK. With quality as its benchmark the show has the best examples of every famous American marque, from Auburns to Pierce Arrows, Buicks, Cadillacs, Chevrolets, Dodge, Dusenberg, Edsels, Fords, Grahams, Hudsons, Internationals – the A to Z of Classic American cars of all ages.

The Pre500AAC welcomes all American vehicles regardless of age and type to the Rally of the Giants and to the membership of the club. When the club was established in 1965 all cars pre 1950 were regarded as classics, however as time has moved on this has changed and the club is pre 1950 in name only not in it's ethos. So to correct a popular misconception there is no age limit.

First held in 1967, 2016 is the 50th anniversary of The Rally of the Giants which will again be held in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, one of Britains’ most spectacular stately homes and a World Heritage site. Blenheim Palace is a great place for families, with its gardens, a miniature railway, excellent cafés and restaurants and of course the palace itself to visit.

Although the RoG is run by the Pre50 American Auto Club it is supported by many other clubs who have their own stands. And of course you don’t have to own a Classic American car to visit the Rally of the Giants.

I've heard it mentioned a few times at club night, never been myself. This year could be the year.

If you want to go - try emailing david@pre50aac.com and grovel to see if you can get a pre-entry cost of £15 (plus £1.50 paypal fee!). You never know you might be lucky

No, Pre-50's is how the club used to be, now they welcome any age as long as 'murican!
You need the garden pass for the show which is £14 - we managed to get pre-entry yesterday despite it being passed the closing date.
Never done this show despite being realy close to home - hope its a good one.

We'll get pics for sure. As long as its not Monsoon weather - can't see the point of going anywhere when the weather is like that! But even if its light rain we will go, the Challenger has been cleaned and polished to within in an inch of its life and is ready to go!

I think that whereas the people visiting pay £15 each, it's £15 to show the car irrespective of the number of passengers.... I think.

Give me a chance, I've only had it a week!!! I've started on the paint as it what people see, I'll get to rest as time allows.
