'89 Firebird T-Top with the roof panels removed.

The scanner light is between the nose cone and the bonnet, its blends in so well you wouldn't know it is there until its switched on.

View from behind the scanner light, this is the prototype so there wont be a control box and there will be a circuit board on the back of the display. Its a little dirty, sand and dirt seems to collect in this part, its needs a bit of a clean.

5 inch JBL dual cone speakers on the dash.

3 way pioneer separates mounted in the rear verticals which is powered be a Kenwood amplifier and a 3 way cross over. The 7x10inch JBL's in the doors are powered by a larger Pioneer amplifier.
There is a 10inch bass 200w Kenwood sub in the boot which leaves me with no boot space, but kick some ass. The rumbles can be felt coming up through the front seats and moves your hair on the back or your neck. This is powered by a 300w amplifier.

The sound system is all controlled by an Alpine head unit with a 6disc muti changer unit, its a flip front unit which is didn't have in the car during the photos

Engine is a 2.8MPFI V6. Fitted with a super coil and a super chip. I want to get a larger engine, but it may just be best that I get the newer Firebird. I mainly get 28MPG when I do some motorway driving and some around town. I get 20MPG around town. When I go to car shows this is one good things I have over V8's.

I am not too sure if this exhaust system is common to all Firebirds, as some I've seen have square tail pipes. Totally stainless steel. Two 3 into 1 manifolds go into 1 just in front of the passenger seat and a large pipe goes to back box where two pipes come out. |
