I swapped the aftermarket steering wheel it came with for an original one.
We had planned to go to Drayton Manor AAC show but weather and distance put us off along with entry prices. Apparently you have to pay entry to the park and pay to display your car. That would have been £46 quid plus fuel plus 5 hours driving total in what looked to have been pretty crappy weather.

Exhaust is being done by Pipecraft in Basildon. Used them before a couple of times and they are also well known for their American vehicle work

Decided to clear out all the cubby holes and pockets etc - ended up with half a carrier bag full of rubbish and old screws, nuts n bolts, fuses and bulbs etc etc.

After that was done I fitted a new rug which goes in between the front seats and rear bed and added a new set of cushions. Pictures to follow as I forgot

Once all that was done I decided to remove the CB and also the box that was in between the two front seats. One thing lead to another and we ended up removing all the wiring that is no longer needed apart from two that might require the carpet to come out

I hate dealing with other people's attempts at wiring.
I always solder my connections and cover in heat shrink, so to find a bodge of twisted connections, scotchlock connectors, black insulation tape wrapped around twisted connections and use of 240v mains wires used in a DC 12v circuit..... yuck.
Most of it is now gone with one circuit left for me to investigate and some now dead wiring to pull out.
