Also gained some weight recently despite the massive amounts of exercise.
I’m now a believer that exercise isn’t everything and that eating correctly is just as if not more important
Had a bit too much wedding cake, so I need to do some exercise. Yesterday and today I cycled into work. Trying to pace myself, as my legs want to go at my old speeds and I would run out of puff too quick. Its quite nice cycling, there are some back residential roads will alley way cut throughs, so I can keep off the bus routes.
The bike is pretty old now, cycled last year a couple of times and the chain broke, so left it with halfords to fit a new one. I used to have all the tools to change links in chains, but that was a couple of decades ago now. Same chain for at-least 22 years so it had done well. Had the same bike since my college days, so its getting on for 1/4 of a century old now, lol.
I must keep the exercise up. Trouble is I went for a lunch time walk, about a 2 mile round trip, was going to get a sarnie, but the chip shop sucked me in. So now I need to do even more excercise. doh!,

Well done - makes you feel good afterwards doesn’t it? I usually cycle from the station to hone on my little folding bike (so that I can take it on the train too!) but before we went away I got a ouncture and we forgot about it when we got back so I haven’t cycled this week and however much I hate riding the thing - I have missed riding![]()
